Two changes from the Aberdeen game with Rogic coming back in for Bitton and Bolingoli coming in for Montgomery. Johnston, Giakoumakis and Bitton came on as subs. Similar to the Aberdeen game Ralston had the most touches with 110 with McGregor next on 108.



McGregor had the most accurate passes with 86 with Turnbull next on 76. Usually it is defenders with the most accurate passes so a significant change there with us controlling the game a bit further up. Hart at 94% and Starfelt at 93% had the best accuracy.


McGregor had 5 key passes and Turnbull had 4.


Turnbull was our top rated player (8.4) with WhoScored and McGregor was top rated (8.9) with FotMob. Ralston was 2nd best (8.3) with WhoScored and 3rd best with FotMob (8.1). Jota being 2nd best with FotMob (8.4) and Carter-Vickers was 3rd best with WhoScored (7.9).

Jota had an xG of 0.65. Our right side had the most attacks at 40% with the left side on 34% and 26% in the centre.



We were consistently dominant during the match with 66% possession the lowest in any 15 minute segment. Overall possession was 73% and total touches in the match were 867 v 415. Passing accuracy was 89% for Celtic and 59% for Motherwell. Motherwell had 5 shots at goal to Celtic's 18 and had 0 on target to Celtic's 7.


Aerials won was 61% v 39% in Celtic's favour and tackles won was 67% for Aberdeen and 71% for Celtic.
