Before kick off our probabilities of winning the game were 70%, a defeat 10% and draw 20%.

Celtic had 81% possession and 181 touches in the last 15 minutes although to be fair (in regards to touches) that spell did include an additional 7 or so minutes.

Overall possession was 75% in Celtic's favour with 833 touches versus 387. For accurate passes it was 552 v 130 with accuracy being 85% v 59%. Stats all very similar to Sunday's victory over Motherwell although 75% possession tonight versus 71% on Sunday.

Our team line up was; - 15 Hart - 56 Ralston, 20 Carter-Vickers, 4 Starfelt and 3 Taylor

- 14 Turnbull, 6 Bitton and 42 McGregor

- 88 Juranovic, 11 Abada and 54 Montgomery With Turnbull going back into his midfield role and Rogic being rested. Abada moved into the centre forward role with Juranovic moving forward to the right wing role and Ralston coming in again at right back.

Montgomery came in for the injured Forrest with Johnston also out injured.

Moffat and Rogic came on as subs for Montgomery and Bitton.

Usually it's our centre halfs that have the most touches but tonight it was McGregor (105) and Turnbull (96) who had the most touches in this game. McGregor had 10.5% of the possession. Starfelt had the most accurate passes at 86 at 98%. Only Hart (at 93%) of the other players was in the 90%+ group. Turnbull had 4 key passes.

Turnbull 7.9/8.23, Ralston 7.6/7.87 and Abada 7.5/7.9 were our top rated players.

I mentioned in my match preview https://www.celtictrends.com/post/preview-ross-county-v-celtic that Jordan White has had a positive impact on Ross County's performances this year and that the team have a goal difference of plus 3.13 from the time he has been on the pitch for them versus the time off the pitch. (He was also the same last year with a positive of 1.29).

He made a difference when he came on and 3 minutes after coming on Ross County scored.

xG achieved was Abada 0.64, Ralston 0.56, Bitton 0.34, Turnbull 0.24, McGregor 0.22, Juranovic 0.09, Scales 0.06, Moffat 0.04 and Carter-Vickers 0.02

Ross County had 7 shots at goal to Celtic's 25 with box shots being 4 and 8. Aerials won was 52% v 48% in Ross County's favour and tackles won was 78% for Celtic and 50% for Ross County.

xG split by half was;

- 1st half 0.00 v 0.99

- 2nd half 1.10 v 1.21 1.05 (48%) of Celtic's xG was from set plays and 0.79 (72%) of Ross County's xG was from set plays.

Post Shot xG was 1.00v2.93 versus pre-shot of 1.10v2.20 32% of Celtic's attacks came down the left and 39% came down the right and a very rare occasion of Celtic having more of the attacks down the right. Maybe Juranovic and Ralston linking up well or Montgomery failing to take his chance or a bit of both.
