There was a formation change for the first time for Ange and a 3-5-2. The formation change was most likely due to the injury situation but the fact it worked could mean we see it again in the future.


Possibly during a game when we are struggling against a low block.

There were 5 changes to the team that played against St Mirren with Barkas, Starfelt, Juranovic, McCarthy and Kyogo coming in for Bain, Ralston, McGregor, Johnston and Moffat.


Joey Dawson (promoted from Celtic B team) and Adam Montgomery came on as subs for Kyogo and Scales. Unused subs were Mullen, Bolingoli, Soro, Moffat and Doak. If Ben Doak had played he would have been the youngest ever player to play for Celtic.


Carter-Vickers had the most touches at 141 and 13.2% of the possession. Carter-Vickers had the most accurate passes at 118 and the highest accuracy was Starfelt with 95% if you exclude Kyogo's 100% as he only played 15 minutes.


Rogic had 6 key passes while Juranovic had 5 and Bitton had 3.


Abada 9/9,1 was the highest rated played with Juranovic 8.1/8.06, Rogic 7.7/8.74 and Bitton 8.4/8.64 all just behind him.


xG by player was Abada 1.95, Scales 0.54, Dawson 0.44, Bitton 0.32, Rogic 0.17, Juranovic 0.11, Kyogo 0.08 and Welsh 0.04.
