Out of the squad altogether were still Forrest and Mooy and they were joined by Hatate, Ralston and Abada in not being included in the match day squad. Welsh, Vata and Iwata coming into the squad to replace them. Young Ben Summers also retaining his place in the squad.
Bernabei, Turnbull, Oh, Haksabanovic and Vata all came on as subs and Bain, Kobayashi, Summers and Welsh were unused subs.
